Unzip the files to directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery\
If you have no program to unzip files, you can download an evaluation copy of
WinZip from http://www.winzip.com/
In Outlook Express™, see menu Message > New Message Using... >
Select Stationery...
Double click the desired Xmas??.htm file. Add your recipient (menu Tools
> Select Recipients...) and message. Send.
(Please note that menu Format > Apply Stationery is not advised.)
In Outlook™, see menu Actions > New Mail Message Using... > More
Stationery...
Double click the desired Xmas?? file. Add your recipient (menu Tools >
Address Book...) and message. Send.
These emails are intended for use in Windows Outlook™ and Outlook
Express™. If they work in other email clients, that's good.
They can be sent to other HTML email clients, but may not display fully.
For instance, online Hotmail™ doesn't support background images, so the
animated stars and snow, and the repeating margin down the left will not display.
Also, Hotmail truncates the background colour, so give 4 or 5 blank lines at
the end of your message to be sure.
